Morgan, I am not really a follower. But your initial video about your weight loss journey seriously got me into gear for working out. One thing that sticks with me every week, honestly, is when you said in the video, “take lots of pictures” because basically I won’t see the progress overnight--not even a week or so. With that, I’ve been able to consistently work out 3-4 times a week since February. So thanks for that, stranger.

What i find frustrating about the "oh you look so much better" thing is why can't you (the person saying this to me) be just as "good" of a person when i wasn't looking all that great, and say something like "oh you've been looking different lately, is everything ok?" I know some will argue that the latter is "rude" while the former is "polite". But isn't it also inconsiderate if you only care about when your friend looks good?

You have no idea how much these videos mean to me. I’ve lost myself in the past 8 months with a hard loss of someone I loved. I gained 28 pounds in that time. Drinking is more and no motivation. I used to be a steady 118 and worked out every day and now I just look and feel like I hate my body and myself

I dont know what it is but im having this thing where im not wanting to lose weight because i feel like im getting rid of myself. That is the best way to put it being “chronically embarrassed” I can definitely relate and for me that comes from me being anxious and way too aware of myself and others and their emotions.
